The Diversity of first impressions shared by guests at the Roobar is as varied as the backgrounds of the guests who share them. But there is without question one prevailing perception: "It is so not Cape Cod".

To say that we don't understand the origin of this categorization would be disingenuous. The spirited Main Street location, eclectic décor, vibrant lighting, extensive wine list and contemporary menu unquestionably meld to provide the Roobar with an atmosphere many associate with areas metropolitan.

But in reality, the Roobar is an amalgamation of all things Cape Cod. A unique atmosphere conceptualized and created by locals whose provincial influences are never lost in their work. A place where renowned chefs create atypical dishes using local ingredients. A medium where those who call this magical place home and those who wish they never had to leave can come together to enjoy one small aspect of exactly what Cape Cod is...

Ten years have passed since this original "mission statement" was printed on our Menus; and now it seems that we have come full circle! We have grown, evolved, and proven that The Roobar is not just another flash in the pan restaurant. We have continued our commitment to local resources, our unwavering focus on creativity, and our desire to offer our patrons a very unique dining experience. We have maintained our goal of setting trends and we pride ourselves on being the local leader when it comes to what's HOT!!! Ultimately, ten years later, the Falmouth Roobar has demonstrated, time and again, that while being "rather metropolitan" we really are "SO Cape Cod".
